Do We Have Freewill?

Some think astrology can tell the future.  Others believe that we have no freewill and it is already all mapped out for us in our charts.  Others think it is alot of nonsense.  And then there are those that believe Astrology is the guidance to help us, to have a better understanding of why we where put on this earth and what we are here to learn.  I am of the last belief here.  I do believe we have freewill and can make our own decisions.  Astrology charts just help us to further understand and guide us.  (A cheatsheet if you will). I do believe we are guided when going in the wrong direction, BUT, I think the direction we go in, is ours.  Whether one listens to the universe or not is up to them.  That doesn’t mean that if we went our own way and didn’t learn that lesson, it won’t come back.  Maybe even more intense than the first lesson.  (This I personally experienced with my personal chart, wasn’t fun second time around at all).  I also believe that each one of us is here to help humanity to evolve, we chose to come here.  We each have a lessons to learn to help that evolution to grow and for us to become a better human race on this earth.

Last time, I wrote about the retrogrades happening in this month of November, for the USA.  This time it is going to be about the USA’s  Midheaven (MC) and their progressed Ascendent (AC).  If you are not familiar with Astrology, the MC is about public image and life goals.  And AC represents how one shows themselves to the world, their first impression and how one is perceived.

As all of us know, especially those of us living in the USA currently, there is alot going on in our country.  But when you look at the USA chart it is telling us we are needing to change.  What we have been doing is no longer working for us and we need to change to continue to grow.  We have had a pretty good first impression… kinda of…. Are we going to have a better or worse second impression.  It is up to the United States on that.   USA has the opportunity here to give a good impression and to show we can do better.

Which brings me to my reading of The AC transit for the USA right now.  The USA needs to reflect and do better.  What does that mean exactly? Since this is all currently happening in the sign of Cancer, of the 9th House,  USA should be looking for meaning beyond the material world.  To have a broader worldview on all of the following; higher learning, spirituality, religion, travel, justice, to spread ideas and knowledge and to nurture others.

Don’t you find this very interesting that these are all hitting for us in the USA right now?  The ways we have practiced these in the past are being destroyed or discussed loudly to change We can’t deny that healthcare (Nurture) is a major issue and is trying to be addressed.  Our Universities (Higher education), our courts (justice) and the ability to spread ideas and true knowledge (media) is being attacked as well.  There is a divide as to what religion actually means.  And let's not forget that travel is alot harder now than just a few months ago.

Now this is where freewill comes in.  How will the USA change, because I think it is clear without even looking at the USA chart that change is going to  happen, the chart just loudly confirms this.  Will we learn our lessons or will we have to go through this all again at a later time.  I think maybe abit of both.  But I am hopeful that mostly we will get it right.  What does that mean to you, I can’t say.  Again freewill.

Note-side: I do ask if you are a citizen of the USA,  use that freewill given to you and write to your congress to express what you want and believe will make the USA a better country for every citizen, as well as contribute to the world.  Remember that the major issues that are trying to be addressed are looking for meaning beyond the material world.  We are at a place to make things better for EVERYONE, not just a few.
